Nightcrawler

Nightcrawler _ Designed as a cocktail table to lurk in at evening receptions, it accompanies guests as they place cocktails and vices aside before they dance, converse or meander drunkenly about the party. The name is an allusion to the drunken inebriation and shift that one may feel as the night progresses. The top of the table features 16 “eye” like domes. These domes on the top surface are intentionally spaced to accept cocktail glasses in standardized fashion, each void large enough to allot for one glass. The eyes are duly designed to come to life with a dim glow that can light up the guests as they converse. The proportions were designed to reflect the skewed nature of a spiders anatomy, a creature that most certainly creeps amongst the evenings shadows.
